Added "Frequency band only (7MHz)" to the frequency display formats.

When logging precise frequencies (e.g., 7.074MHz) in modes such as FT8, the frequency field on QSL cards could become too long.

To address this, we have added "Frequency band only (e.g., 7MHz)" to the frequency display formats.

Available display formats

  • Precise frequency (e.g., 7.074MHz) … Default
  • Frequency band only (e.g., 7MHz) … Newly added
  • Band designation (e.g., 40m)

Where this applies

  • All screens that display frequency, such as the QSO list and awards
  • QSL cards (insertion into designs, coordinate-specified printing, and eQSL)

Please note

  • The recorded frequency itself does not change. Only the display changes.
  • For QSOs on license-free radio (CB, DCR, Specified Low-Power Radio, LCR), the radio service name is displayed regardless of this setting.

Where to find the setting

Menu "More" → "Operation Settings" → "Frequency Display Format"

If you do not change the setting, frequencies will continue to be displayed in precise form, as before.
