JCC/JCG suggestions now show labels to distinguish counties without a letter suffix from town/village codes

In the JCC/JCG field of the logbook entry form, we have added the following labels to the suggestions.

  • [County (no letter)] … This is the JARL JCG number. As before, it can be used without a letter.
  • [Town/Village Code (Turbo HAMLOG format)] … This is a code consisting of a 5-digit number with a letter added at the end. It is an optional choice for those who want to carry over their Turbo HAMLOG logbooks.

Codes with a letter are not defined by JARL;

they are codes used within Turbo HAMLOG.

If you do not use letters, you can continue as before

by entering only the JCC or JCG number.

If you enter a code with a letter, it will also be automatically counted toward the county (JCG).

We thank the members who shared their feedback with us.
